With always a keen interest in real estate, which was sparked by her dad in The Netherlands, Marieka started her career in real estate in New Zealand in 2006. She has completed her Sales Persons Course while working for Taranaki Harcourts where she thoroughly enjoyed supporting the sales team as well as the director. When she moved to Perth in 2011, she had the opportunity to work within recruitment where she successfully matched many candidates to high profile clients within the mining sector. Marieka thrives on a busy and varied environment and is proud to be part of Harcourts again. With a diploma in Administration and Economics and a solid work history in sales and marketing/office administration as well as her passion for travelling the world, she brings a wealth of experience with her, as well as a helpful and empathetic attitude. Marieka is the first point of call that Harcourts clients will interact with in our Maylands office and she takes great care in making sure that each client receives the highest level of customer service. When she isn't helping clients with queries, she is tackling a wide range of administrative duties that contribute to the smooth running of the office. With her strong work ethic and believe that ‘by all working together as a team we can achieve a high standard of service and the best outcomes for all of our clients whether they be existing or prospective’, as well as the ability to communicate in five languages, Marieka represents a refreshing approach to the needs and importance of both the Sales and Property Management team. An adventurer at heart and having traveled to nearly all continents, Marieka simply loves the international culture at Harcourts Integrity.
